Limelight Papercrafts Sketch Challenge...

I decided to hurry up and do one more challenge before my trip tomorrow...er this morning lol! I need to get up in 5 hours so I need to make this fast. Man...5 days without scrapping or making cards - SHOOT. LOL! I hope I can survive. I know...I will look up all the scrapbook stores in the area where I'm going and bring mono adhesive and scissors. ;) HA!
Ok, so I found this challenge #34 hosted by Limelight Papercrafts and I love the giveaway so I thought I would play! Here is the sketch and the challenge was to use chipboard.

I used blank chipboard and covered the x's and o's with glitter. The heart I covered in brilliance white ink from Tsukineko, then stamped it with a flourish stamp from Unity in Taken with Teal by SU. I love the teal color, it's so brilliant. I stamped the Unity sentiment too with Taken with Teal...and I know it's cut off but I loved the font on this stamp! I dressed up the heart with some bling and also paper pierced the corners of the teal cardstock to finish it off.

And here is a close-up for your enjoyment:

I really love chipboard and all the fun things you can do with it! I hope I win because the prize is more chipboard! =D Have a great Thursday!

Friends with Flair Friday with Unity Stamp Co!

Today is Friends with Flair Friday and I'm so excited to be a part of it! Be sure to check out Angela's Blog HERE for all the other Friends with Flair participants!
Also, be sure to check out the sweet sale they are having at Unity until Sunday!

The fall card I'm sharing today features stamps from the Unity Sept KOM (kit of the month). I'm using these while anxiously awaiting the Oct KOM! :) I used distress ink on the background with a dobber, stamped it with my background stamp using Ranger distress embossing ink,(I need to get a Unity background stamp!...and since there is a sale, I'm going to!) then I used clear embossing powder on it. Then I went back over it with the same color distress ink. It just so happened to match my new fall papers I got from Stampin' Up! This card is also for the "Fall" challenge over at The Pink Elephant this week.

I stamped one of the heart flowers inside the card since the ones on the outside are only half stamped. And here is a close-up so you can see the embossing...

I also created this layout for 52 Sketches...52 Weeks. I used the round month stamp from the Unity Sept KOM since I needed a large circle image for that spot and that stamp fit perfectly!

Thanks so much for stopping by on Friends with Flair Friday! Be sure to check out my Sweet Deal on the Unity Oct Store Stamp Kit on my sidebar & enter my Halloween blog candy!

Stamping 411 #120 - Saturday Sketch Time

So I'm up early posting...or late rather...I'm such a night owl. WHOOO. :) I used the Stamping 411 #120 sketch this time.

I used Stampin' Up cardstock the sentiment and the green ink. The other stamps are from The Paper Company...I just had to get the little critters they were so cute! The brown ink is Tsukineko. I stamped the deer on the inside too to finish off the card.
That's it folks! Bedtime for me. :) Zzzzzzz

Paper Crafts Stamp It! Cards Seasons Greetings & PCP Lesson 1

Hi Everyone!
I hope you are enjoying your Labor Day weekend! Gosh, can you believe we are already into September?? I'm enjoying the extra time off with my DBF (darling boyfriend) since he has 3 days off in a row! In his line of work his 2 days off a week are usually spread out.
Ok, on to my card! I used Stampin' Up stamps and some really cute snowflake paper. I used Taken with Teal ink pad from Stampin' Up and Moonlight White pigment ink from Tsukineko. And there is that sweet pom pom ribbon again. I love that stuff! I think it just might find its way onto my Christmas Cards this year.;)
I'm entering this card into the Paper Crafts Stamp It! Cards Season Greetings and the Paper Craft Plant Stampendous-Back to Basics Challenge.
Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave me a comment! :) TTFN!
