Fight Like a Girl

I used the sketch from 2 Sketches 4 You #38 and also incorporated the Just Us Girls Challenge by using a "tissue paper flower".

I loved the video by Mona on the Just Us Girls Challenge site. It was very helpful, although I didn't have the Spellbinders flowers, so I improvised and used my scallop punch...it sort of worked! :)
I used a very cool digi set that I got from Whimsie Doodles that celebrates Breast Cancer Awareness which I think is a wonderful cause! This stamp was only $2.50 and the proceeds go to Breast Cancer Research, how awesome is THAT?! :) (they also have a little boy and a princess girl now along the same lines, SO cute!) I used paper piecing with Cosmo Cricket Girl Friday, which is the cutest paper!

Cuttlebug Challenge #48 - Card & A Gift Bag/CPS Challenge #133

This bag and card is for the Cuttlebug Challenge #48 - Card & A Gift Bag and the card also goes along with the CPS 133 card sketch challenge above. I made this set for my Mom's tea/quilting get together she is having. This goes along with the tea invitation HERE. She is planning on putting some fabric fat quarters into the little bag, which I think is a great idea! I think she'll fit at least 3 or 4 in there. The card is for my mom, just because. I'll give it to her when I give her all the invitations & bags. I thought is was very cool, I just happened to have a TEA POT stamp by Unity that fit on the bag perfectly! It's great when everything just comes together...wish that happened ALL the time! LOL :)

Friday Sketchers

Hi all! Another late night for me...oh probably because I drank a coke...why did I do that??!! Oh well, I made a card for Friday Sketchers for the first time. My sister came over and we worked on it together. Hers is super cute! We had fun working on them together. I hope one of us wins because these stamps are ah-dor-ah-ble. I would love to try coloring them with some copics. What a great excuse to go buy more markers!! :) Here is my card:
Hugs,
