Here is another quick tag I whipped up for a make n take at a vendor fair I attended. I love how easy this tag was. I started with Lovely As a Tree and stamped it in Mossy Meadow. You can stamp it a 2nd time which will be lighter trees (in the background). Then I stamped the snow using Gorgeous Grunge (love this set - SO versatile!) in Whisper White Craft ink. Then I stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler using More Merry Messages. To finish the tag I used some Dazzling Details (glitter glue) on just the trees. This gave a nice finishing sparkle to the tag! I used Crumb Cake seam binding for the ribbon, tied with Cherry Cobbler baker's twine.
So easy and super cute! This is perfect for a gift or even to place on a card! Come back later this week for another tag and a Christmas card!

12 Tags of Christmas
Hello Friends!
I have not posted on here since February and I'm sad. In July I attended the Stampin' Up Convention and had a blast (even though I had my 6 month old with me). I vowed at that time to blog more and post my projects and I've been terrible at it! :-(
Part of the reason for this is because Sophia was a little colicky from about 3 weeks old. Yes this is a real thing. Maybe it was her tummy (it was always grumbling and she would have gas - even when I cut out the milk!), but from about 6-9 on and off every night she would be SO sad. She would cry and fuss and be overtired until she would fall asleep from exhaustion. Poor girl. This went on until she was about 4 months old. A friend of ours gave us Colic Calm and it worked VERY well, too bad he didn't give it to us sooner! It was pretty miserable. But we survived! She's doing great. She's crawling everywhere and pulling herself up on everything tall to stand. She loved to eat and put everything in her mouth! She says mamamama, da da, and coos a lot. She is completely cute. I love her and her little giggle is so contagious! I would have a few more girls if I had more energy and was about 10 years younger! hahaha Seriously, I am almost 39 years old and I'm getting tired! (My 2-1/2 year old wears me out too!!!)
But I am now focused on 1 thing. My Stampin Up business! I'm a stay at home mom so in addition to my 2 littles, I have time to put a little into my business and share what I love with others!
So, this month and for December I'll be sharing some Christmas projects, cards and tags. I LOVE the Thanksgiving through Christmas holiday season! I love decorating, candles, fire places, hot cocoa, Christmas movies, crafting, and wearing scarves and boots! It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year! :-)
So that being said....Here are a couple of tags (inspired by projects on Pinterest, with my own twist). I will be sharing more tags as I create them and I'll post them here. I will be having workshops making 6 Christmas tags to anyone that wants to have one! I charge $5 for each person but the class is FREE with any order! Hostesses can also have the option to just make 1 Christmas card per person. (no charge)
This one is made with Lovely As A Tree #127793 and gold embossed #109129. I used Whisper White Craft ink #101731 for the sentiment from More Merry Messages #126402 and the sequins from the Gold Sequin Trim #132983. I also sponged some of the white on the trees and ground, then used the 2-Way Glue #100425 and sprinkled it with Dazzling Diamonds #133751. I think I will use the glitter glue Dazzling Details #124117 next time though. All these products can be purchased at: http://www.stampinup.com/home/en-US/ (use me for your Demonstrator!)
Here is the other tag, which is for a wine bottle (or any kind of soap/lotion bottle). Great for a gift for Christmas (or any time!) I used the Ornament Keepsakes set #128051 and the matching framelits Holiday Ornaments #127816. The sentiment is from More Merry Messages #126402. I cut this tag at 3" x 6-1/2" and scored at 2", then rounded the corners for the top of the tag. For the circle for the hole I used a 1-1/4" punch.
Stay tuned for more Holiday/Christmas tags! Thank you for visiting my blog! PS - Show some love by leaving me a comment! :-) xoxo

Our Baby Girl!!!
Our Baby Girl is Finally Here!!!
Sophia Colleen
Born January 25th, 2014
at 5:41 AM
6 lbs. 9 oz.
19-1/2" long
We decided to name her middle name after my mom Colleen. After 6 grandchildren no one had used her name at all. This is the 7th and most likely last grandchild so we really wanted to honor my mother. We also took our newborn photos ourselves. Photography has gotten so expensive lately and we do have a very nice Nikon D3100 SLR camera. We set her up on blankets on our bed and opened the blinds, put her in a super cute tutu outfit my friend Staci made (super adorable!), and took about 200 pictures! Yay, scrapbooking here I come! ;-) I'm excited about this year and scrapbooking. I hope to really catch up on my son's pictures from his 1st year and both pregnancy pictures.
Lots of exciting things this year! Especially new GOALS that I have this year....blog more, make more cards, scrapbook more, possibly create a stamping ONLINE KIT CLUB?? How fun would that be?! Then I would HAVE to make cards on a MONTHLY basis ;-) I hope to plan this and get it going as soon as THIS month!
I also plan to start my monthly card class again! These cards would be the same as my monthly online club cards. I'm excited to start these again as I didn't have much energy while chasing my almost 20-month old and being 10 months pregnant! I'm not sure how I'll do STILL chasing my 20-month old and nursing my 1-week old, but it will be nice to have a hobby and do something for me. :-)
Hope to see more followers comment and get involved with my blog! I hope to do MORE GIVEAWAYS in 2014 too!!!
Happy Stamping!
Charlene :-)
