A Little Thanksgiving Treat Box...
Hi Everyone!
I'm on a short Thanksgiving holiday, only a couple days...but I couldn't go without posting! I just wanted to share with you these adorable little treat boxes I made for table on Thanksgiving. I got this wonderful idea from My Pink Stamper, Robyn. Thanks Robyn!
First I cut all my Stampin' Up patterned paper into strips, 1" x 3". Then I used my tombow adhesive and wrapped the Hersheys Nuggets.
Then I put 6 in the pillow boxes I ordered from Clear Bags.com. (they are 3" x 1" x 5").
Then I used plain cardstock in more mustard and stamped it with my Autumn Splendor leaves using chocolate chip, real rust and more mustard.
After that it was ready to put together with some finishing touches. I stamped my Happy Thanksgiving stamp and used a 1" circle punch. Then I used my cricut (Accents cartridge) and cut some leaves. I stamped those with a leaf stamp from Stampin Up. I popped up the circle to give it some pop! I used one of the leaves as a name tag.
These worked great for a nice surprise place card. They were a hit!
Hope you all have a very blessed and Happy Thanksgiving! Hugsxx

Design Dollies Challenge
Oh my gosh! I actually had time to scrap today, although it wasn't much time! I squeezed in this page right before dinner, but couldn't post until just now. Had to watch the San Jose Sharks pummel the Philadelphia Flyers ;) Dany Heatley scored another hat trick! (3 goals in one game) It was a great game!!
Ok, on to my layout! This challenge is actually 3 in one from the Design Dollies. It's a sketch challenge, shown here...
...and I had to incorporate 7-10 flowers...and use the colors gray and red.
So, here is the page that I came up with....
I used paper by Cosmo Cricket-Everafter, Scenic Route Paper Company, black cardstock from Stampin' Up that I ran through a Fiskars wavy texture, and a Teresa Collins journal card. The transparency clock is by Heidi Swapp and the Amore rub on and bling is by Basic Grey. I thought that using the gray and red would be a hard challenge, but once I picked the Everafter paper and the red, everything fell into place. I'm beginning to think I'm better at scrapping the bright, bold colors.
Fun challenge, glad I played this week! Blog candy post coming SOON....

An Exciting Announcement & A Couple Pictures!
Hi Everyone!!
It's good to be back from vacation! Colorado was beautiful. It snowed a little and the blanket of white over the mountains was simply serene. I had a great time with my boyfriend's family. We hung out, ate, gambled a wee bit and played the Nintendo Wii!
Here is a picture of Pike's Peak:
And here is Galen & I out for a walk in this winter wonderland, the air was SO fresh and crisp! Can you tell I cut my hair??!! (WHY did I DO it?!...I'm not really happy with it, it's TOO short! Can't wait for it to grow back! LOL)
So, while I was gone I decided to take on a VERY exciting venture and just HAVE to share it with you!! So here it is...you have heard of Unity Stamp Co, RIGHT?? Beautiful, high quality, deeply etched red rubber stamps mounted on static cling foam?? WELL, Unity has come out with a new line of stamps called IPPITY!
I will be an independent rep and will be selling the Ippity line of stamps!! I'm SO SO excited to share these awesome stamps with you at some great prices! They are SO cute!! I will also be holding stamp classes to share these stamps and help you create some gorgeous cards and projects for the holidays! I'm SO excited about that. There is more information about these stamps on MY NEW IPPITY BLOG HERE....

Limelight Papercrafts Sketch Challenge...
I decided to hurry up and do one more challenge before my trip tomorrow...er this morning lol! I need to get up in 5 hours so I need to make this fast. Man...5 days without scrapping or making cards - SHOOT. LOL! I hope I can survive. I know...I will look up all the scrapbook stores in the area where I'm going and bring mono adhesive and scissors. ;) HA!
Ok, so I found this challenge #34 hosted by Limelight Papercrafts and I love the giveaway so I thought I would play! Here is the sketch and the challenge was to use chipboard.
I used blank chipboard and covered the x's and o's with glitter. The heart I covered in brilliance white ink from Tsukineko, then stamped it with a flourish stamp from Unity in Taken with Teal by SU. I love the teal color, it's so brilliant. I stamped the Unity sentiment too with Taken with Teal...and I know it's cut off but I loved the font on this stamp! I dressed up the heart with some bling and also paper pierced the corners of the teal cardstock to finish it off.
And here is a close-up for your enjoyment:
I really love chipboard and all the fun things you can do with it! I hope I win because the prize is more chipboard! =D Have a great Thursday!

10 Things I Love...& a Giveaway!
HI all!! I can't believe it's been 3 days since I posted last! =( I feel bad so I'm giving away a sweet treat to one lucky commenter from this post! Just leave me a comment and you're entered! I'll draw a random winner tomorrow so leave me a comment by 11:59 PST tonight! :) I know I still have to post my blog candy for Thanksgiving!...will do that when I get back! :)
It's been crazy here with the house I'm renting foreclosing and I've been frantically searching for homes to rent...AND I'm leaving for a 6 day vacation to Colorado tomorrow!! What timing huh? Well, we already got the tickets, so we are definitely going! I can't wait to visit my boyfriend's family there...and maybe play in the snow ;) I heard we might be going to the basketball game Friday night TOO! (Lakers & Nuggets) How FUN!
I am kinda bummed that I won't be scrapbooking or card making...BUT maybe I can sneak in a small project while I'm there or share some pretty pictures!
So here is my layout that I had a LOT of fun with....and only some frustration with chipboard and glue LOL. This comes from Scrapbook Challenges 10 Things I Love Challenge.
And a close-up for your enjoyment. :D

Get Sketchy
I had to play along this week for the Get Sketchy Challenge #13! This sketch was very cool and I had lots of ideas as soon as I saw it. I knew I wanted to use my Autumn Splendor stamp set and Autumn papers from Stampin' Up. For the bonus, I used dry embossing with the cuttlebug folder, then inked them with chocolate chip and real rust. I stamped the leaves with the same colors plus more mustard. Then I just wrapped it with a little hemp cord and used a cute sunflower button I had. The sentiment is from Unity Stamps. Thanks for the great sketch Bree! I hope I win this week, they have an awesome Glue Glider Pro Gun + refills up for the prize!! I could use that to replace my little tombow ;)
Sketchy Thursdays Challenge
Here is this week's sketch for the Sketchy Thursdays challenge.
I used some We Are Memory Keepers paper that I have had for at least a year! I saw the splatter background and wanted something a little more flourishy. This paper had this great pattern just in one spot of the paper so I thought it would work great. To add some dimension I added the popped up butterflies from Stampin Up set, Kind Thoughts. The Memories journal stamp is by My Mind's Eye and the border stamp is by Hampton Art.
Fun sketch!

Friends with Flair Friday!
...but not so much Flair here=( I'm sooo sorry but I came down with something fierce tonight and feel awful. I'm so sorry I couldn't create a beautiful card with Unity stamps on it. I hope you can all forgive me. I still hope you have a fantastic Friday with all the Friends with Flair! You can see them all HERE on Angela's Unity Blog. Good luck finding that blinkie! :)
3 in 1 Challenge - Stuck on U sketches, Frosted designs, Practical Scrappers
This was a pretty fun sketch challenge by StuckonUSketches!
Then I had to step it up by adding an owl for Frosted Designs. If that wasn't enough, I had to use 3 different ribbons for Practical Scrappers. Ok, all in all it wasn't that hard. It was pretty fun! I scrapped a page of my boyfriend and his mama from our camping trip at June Lake. Camping pages are pretty fun, I hope to do more of them! Check out my sister in law's beautiful page here!

ABC Toys & Crafts Giveaway!
ABC Toys & Crafts is giving away this cute Martha Stewart cupcake stamp & punch set! Just visit their blog HERE for all the details!
Cupcake Craft Challenge # 64 - A Sketch
I created this card for the Cupcake Craft Challenge #64 - A sketch and the Color Throwdown Challenge. But it's kinda funny, I missed the date to get the entry in for Color Throwdown! I think I'll still link it up for grins. :)
I used all Stampin Up paper in rich razzleberry, bordering blue and elegant eggplant. I ran a piece of white cardstock through the cuttlebug and used a foam pad to brush on rich razzleberry ink. I distressed the edge of the bordering blue with a little of the same color and colored in the flower with razzleberry. I even found a flower by Making Memories that was about the same color! The stamp set is my sister in law's, Delight in Life by Stampin' Up. Check out her card too, HERE.

Moxie Fab - Plum Crazy!
Cath over at Moxie Fab World has gone Plum Crazy! LOL That is the challenge over at Moxie Fab World. To... "Capture its depth. Sample its nature. Command its presence. Ensnare its mystery."
So when creating this card I really wanted it to be simple so I could enhance all the plumness about it. The paper is elegant eggplant & whisper white by Stampin Up. The ink is also elegant eggplant. The ribbon is Making Memories and the black rhinestones are by Basic Grey.
Check out Lou's card HERE (my sister in law).

Mojo Monday on Wednesday morning!
Funny how I always seem to be behind and my Mojo happens on Wednesday! LOL
Well, I sort of got my creativity mojo back...or I stole it from my sister in law, Lou. (mwuahahaha!--->evil laugh)
We did a bunch of cards yesterday so I'll be posting them all today. Here we go!
Here's a little Mojo Monday Challenge for you. I combined this sketch with the Hero Arts Challenge this week which was to create a Christmas card using non-Christmas colors (and use at least 1 Hero Arts stamp). I love this metallic paper flower from Making Memories. I used the snowflake cuttlebug folder on the bright pink shimmer paper. Check out Lou's card HERE.
