Mojo Monday Week 106 & Image from The Digi Shack
Hi Everyone!
I made this card using the Mojo Monday Week #106 sketch above. I used this FREE cute owldigi image I downloaded from The Digi Shack. I then colored it with my Prisma Watercolors. The patterned paper is from Pink Paislee and the cardstock is from Stampin' Up.

2 Sketches 4 You #36 & The Pink Elephant #34
Today, I combined these 2 awesome challenges together. I used the 2 Sketches 4 You #36 sketch above and the recipe for The Pink Elephant challenge #34 was to use something with dots, punch and a tag. So, I used some cardstock that already had dots on it, Fiskars border, scallop and circle punch, Stampin' Up Darling Dots cupcake stamp and a Terrific Tags stamp. I finished it off with some tulle ribbon. I also clear embossed the cherry on top so it would shine! :)
Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #83
Whew! I'm all caught up from last week lol. Now I get to start Monday's challenges tomorrow! ;) Oh well. I had to stay up and finish this card! I am sooo tired! I love this sketch that Taylor made for the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #83. I love this kit with all the pink, green, white, black and teal. My sister gave me part of this kit that she won from a local scrapbook store. So without further ado, here's my card:

Back to Basics: Lesson 4 & Friday Sketchers Week #71
For this card I combined the challenge from Back to Basics: Lesson 4on Paper Craft Planet and the Friday Sketchers Week #71 challenge sketch. For the back to basics I just had to do a little embossing so I picked my cool new Christmnas stamp set from my store Sweet Scrap Deal. I only used the trees because I also wanted to use my "Season of Blessings" stamp from Unity. I really liked this sketch and the way it turned out!

Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge 12
I made an ornament for the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #12. I had to use gold, a hanging device and a stamp. I used an Imaginesce stamp and my cricut to cut the #'s and the snowflake. The snowflake is BLUE, but somehow I know it looks purple :( It really is blue! Have a nice evening everyone!
52 Sketches 52 Weeks #38
Here is sketch #38 from last week's 52 Sketches 52 Weeks, that I barely finished in time! I scrapped more pics of me from when I was little. These are pictures from Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grade. Check out my sister in law's page HERE.

New Background and Some Technical Difficulties...
Hi Everyone!

I'm in the process of uploading a super cool new background that my sister in law Lou designed for me using my business cards as inspiration. :) It should be up and running shortly! Thank you for your patience!

CPS Card Sketch Challenge 134
Here is the sketch for the CPS Card Sketch Challenge 134. I finally got to use my new September KOM from Unity. I love the pumpkin stamp! I had the perfect size mini buttons that fit right over the larger buttons. I had to use the packaging that my bevy of butterflies came in too :), that's the kraft paper in the middle. Be sure to check out my sister in law's card HERE.

Another Combo Challenge
I combined another 3 challenges together to help me catch up! :) I used The Sweet Stop Sketch with a Spin SSS22 which also needed to use the colors red, black and tan. I also made this card for the Unity Bachelor Challenge Week #2 { I missed the first week :( } which said to use: something SHINY - or GLITTERY, One piece of PATTERNED PAPER, 2 Buttons and must include Unity Stamps. The last challenge was for Simon Says Stamp Challenge in which case I needed to use stiching.
The colors worked out perfectly with my Budweiser bottle cap!
Camping at June Lake & Some Challenges
So, I went camping with my boyfriend and his wonderful family this last weekend. They decided on June Lake, CA. Galen and I had never been there so we weren't sure the best route to take. His step-dad gave us 3 routes to choose from. The route we picked was through Stockton, Sonora, Strawberry and up over the Sonora Pass. I do not recommend ANYONE to ever take this route! LOL! It was a winding road and had tons of switchbacks so we could only drive about 15-20 mph the whole way over it. The drive took us 7 1/2 hours. The way back was through Lake Tahoe, took us 4 1/2 hours. Much better and prettier too! I give this lake 5 stars. We enjoyed kayaking and hangin out by the campfire! Ok on to some challenges!! I got VERY behind while we were gone, so I had to combine some challenges...
I combined the challenges Mojo Monday, Moxie Fab World and Basic Grey Challenges.
I followed the sketch from Mojo Monday Week 105. I used Basic Grey Paper Periphery, a BG magnetic embellishment and BG Periphery ribbon and did some wet embossing on Unity's Bevy of Butterflies stamps. The challenge for Moxie Fab was to use some gradient color, or ombre, so that's the light and dark circles. Here's my finished card. Please leave me a comment when you stop by! Thanks for visiting and stay tuned for lots more! :)

Seasons Changing - Welcome Fall!
I love summer, but when the nights started to be more crisp and cool and the leaves start changing color and falling, I was happy to see Fall arriving! The change in weather brings warm sweaters, hot soup and scarves for me! I love making homemade soup like pasta e fagioli (pasta & bean soup), zuppa toscana (just like Olive Garden's) and I love to wear scarves! I counted and I have 13 of them and will wear them all with the coming cold weather. :) Apron Strings has offered a challenge to take 4 pictures of what marks the season change for me. So, here they are:
Back to School Signs...Fall Festivals, Book Fairs...
Brand new No.2 pencils! I love the smell of a sharpened pencil!
The leaves changing and falling...
And my ALL TIME FAV mark of the changing season...
A Pumpkin Spice Latte!!!

2 Sketches 4 You Sketch 35
Evenin!
Here is Laura's Sketch #35 for 2 Sketches 4 You. I decided to open up a bag of Stampin' Up goodies I was lucky to score at a stamp/art garage sale for FREE. You can see why it was free from this picture. It was a lot of bits and pieces but there are some really cute pieces still left!
So I started piecing something together...and I liked where it was going...see that one little piece of ribbon? That was the ONLY piece in there...hmmm...maybe it was meant to be? ;)
Ok....so then I got stuck! I really didn't know where to go for the middle part...stamp? Pop-up?
I decided on a pop-up in the middle to make the card have some dimension. I popped up the stamp too. The cardstock is So Saffron and the ink is Always Artichoke. Everything is from Stampin' Up. Hmmm, I don't even sell Stampin' Up...maybe I should? ;)
Some Distressing...
For the Cupcake Craft Challenge #58, I created some distressed gift tags. For the one on the left I used a sponge with Ranger Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Tea Dye. I used Worn Lipstick Distress ink on the flower and finished it off with some bling. I cut a stem from some green paper and wrapped it with ribbon. I used scrapbooker's floss for the hole at the top.
For the 2nd tag I used a sponge with Ranger Tim Holtz Peeled Paint first. Then I placed my mini Tim Holtz mask over it and sponged it with Weathered Wood. I love masking now! :) It was super easy and fun to use. The flower on this tag is actually a paper scallop punch that I rubbed in water and Worn Lipstick and perfect pearls in Forever Red (which is hard to see). It created a nice faded look with some shimmer. I then cut each petal and creased it a little to look like a flower. I finished it with some Hero Arts bling.
Lastly, I stamped them with Stampin' Up stamps "Yummy".
I love making these tags! I think I might have to make some for Christmas gifts this year!

52 Sketches 52 Weeks #37
For this weeks LO, I used another picture when I was about 2 years old. I'm creating my own baby/childhood album since my mom never made one. I hope to pass it on to my children one day!! :) So I used the 52 Sketches 52 Weeks #37 sketch above for this page. Yes, I stayed up until now...4:42AM {why? because I'm kookuukachoo!!}...to finish this LO. I'm going camping this weekend and I won't be able to get to it so I had to stay up and finish! =D OK, time to get some Zzzzzzz's. G'night! And check out my sister in law's page she created HERE.

Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge #82
Happy almost Friday everyone!! I made this card for my boyfriend's Dad. His family is chipping in to buy him a new pair of glasses (he doesn't have good insurance)! So, they asked me to custom make a card and a gift certificate. I decided to use the sketch challenge from Taylored Expressions for my card. I used Get Happy paper by Cosmo Cricket and the stamp is Inkadinkadoo. I used my cricut to cut all the letters. The eye glasses happened to be in the Get Happy die cuts {perfect!}.

Back to Basics with Stampendous - Lesson #3
I participated in the 3rd lesson for Back to Basics with Stampendous on Paper Craft Planet. For this lesson it showed how to create a wrap with your stamps. You could use a stamp on a bag or wrapping paper. I chose to make some Christmas wrapping paper since I actually had 1 gift to wrap! (can you believe that?!) So, I used my Hampton Art Christmas stamps (that I sell on my site Sweet Scrap Deal) to stamp random images all over the paper. Then I colored them with my Prisma watercolors and metallic markers. It was pretty simple and fun to do! I will definitely be making more of this stamped wrapping paper this holiday season!
Cuttlebug Challenge #48 - Card & A Gift Bag/CPS Challenge #133
This bag and card is for the Cuttlebug Challenge #48 - Card & A Gift Bag and the card also goes along with the CPS 133 card sketch challenge above. I made this set for my Mom's tea/quilting get together she is having. This goes along with the tea invitation HERE. She is planning on putting some fabric fat quarters into the little bag, which I think is a great idea! I think she'll fit at least 3 or 4 in there. The card is for my mom, just because. I'll give it to her when I give her all the invitations & bags. I thought is was very cool, I just happened to have a TEA POT stamp by Unity that fit on the bag perfectly! It's great when everything just comes together...wish that happened ALL the time! LOL :)

Cuttlebug Challenge #47 - Birthday Invitations
I'm a little late creating this invitation, but I finally got to it! I used the Cuttlebug Challege #47 - Create an Invitation. My mom was wanting me to create an invitation for a quilting tea party she is going to have. This is what I came up with. It's a mini quilt! If she likes it I'll be hired to make 4 or 5 of them. :) (course I won't charge her!)

52 Sketches 52 Weeks Design Call
Howdy!
Wow another late night crafting by the midnight embossing enamel ;) I just finished my layout for the 52 Sketches 52 Weeks Design Challenge. I would love to be a designer for this site! Not only would I get to be a part of a fabulous design team, but I would get to do my favorite thing (scrap layouts) and inspire others!{oh and use up my scrapbook stash!} That would be so cool! Then I could buy more stuff! hahahaha
Here is the page I did for the design call (based on their sketch #31 below). This is me when I was just a wee little thing. Wish me luck!! :)
