I decided to redo my RSC for October because I forgot I have some Bombshell stamps! Since they are hosting it, I wanted to use them...plus if I win, I'll be entered in their October contest too! :) How cool is that. Plus it gave me a chance to practice my coloring. I tried something new since I don't have a lot of Copic's yet, I squished my stamp pad down to get some ink on the lid, then used my copic blender to pick up the color, then colored her in.
I used the colors shown, the green is Handsome Hunter, all by Stampin' Up. I just learned this technique in a Stampin' Up meet up group through Laura Thorpe. Thanks Laura!!
I also incorporated the Cupcake Craft Challenge Week 60 which was "Thanks a Bunch". Mahalo is a Hawaiian word meaning thanks, gratitude, admiration, praise, esteem, regards, respects...perfect for my card!
Here is the Rubber Stamp Chat sketch and my card:

Wow!! What a great card - love the image you used :)
ReplyDeleteGreat card, and coloring! I may just have to go get a Copic Blender pen :)
ReplyDeleteCharlene,
ReplyDeleteThis card is way cute!!!! I love all the colors you used.
I also try to live by Emerson. I believe it makes a better person than any "organized religion". It tells you what To do instead of just what Not to do. I'm not trying to slight any true believers, it is just my opinion.
